In chapter 13 i learned all about cancer, what cancer is how you can get and prevent it, and what cancer is made up of, and how to treat it. It started by breaking down what cancer is, explaining tumors and the different types of tumors, then moved on to the causes of cancers, this is the part of the chapter i found most interesting. Then the rest of the chapter dealt with all the different kinds of cancer, there are alot, and what each cancer is made of and how it effects your body. Then the very end of the chapter dealt with cancer treatments chemo and radiation.
In chapter 14 i learned all about cardiovascular disease and everything that goes along with that. Including all about the heart, blood flow and regulating blood flow. The whole chapter dealt with the different diseases of the heart basically with some ways to prevent here and there.
The online material was also very helpful its always good to know different ways to prevent cancer and disease. I didnt learn much from the discussions because of the technical difficulties, and did not get to fully participate.
My participation once again was a little under par and not totally on schedule and defently not the best i could do, but i tried to manage my work and time a little better even know my schedule is to busy for my liking between work and school, but once again i managed to get all my work done in the time allowed.
